Ticket purchasers are awarded one priority point for each year tickets are purchased. For instance, if tickets were purchased for 2003 (Buffalo) and 2007 (St. Louis), the individual’s priority number would be 2 out of a possible 20. Priority points do not have to be earned in consecutive years and earned points are not lost if tickets were not purchased in any given year. Based on the individual’s number of priority points, he/she were invited to purchase tickets on a designated date and time.
Each priority ticket purchaser level was given a designated date and time when Frozen Four tickets became available for purchase. Individuals with the highest priority level were invited to purchase tickets first on Sept. 21, followed by individuals with the next highest priority level and so on until the last priority level was reached on Nov. 4. Priority ticket purchasers had the opportunity to purchase tickets and select their own seat locations, based on availability. Upon the respective purchase date and time, ticket orders were accepted until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, Friday, November 25.
